THE HAVERING (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-

a) Introduce double yellow lines in

i. Crossways to protect sight lines to the Station access;

ii. Crossways on the south eastern side opposite No 19 between the proposed ‘kiss and ride’ and the proposed pay and display bays;

iii. Balgores Lane on the south side between the existing loading bay and the new pedestrian crossing;

iv. Balgores Lane on the south west side opposite No 85 reducing an existing parking space by 2 metres;

v. Station Road on the north side opposite the bus layby to separate the proposed ‘kiss and ride’ and taxi bays.

b) Introduce disabled parking space

i. Crossways on the south east side opposite No 76 Crossways.

c) Introduce a ‘kiss and ride’ max stay 5 minutes

i. Crossways on the south east side opposite No 19 Balgores Square;

ii. Station Road on the north side opposite No 8 Station Road.

d) Introduce pay and display bay Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm max stay 3 hours no return within 1 hour

i. Crossways on the south side opposite the eastern access to Balgores Square.

e) Introduce 24 hour taxi bay

i. Station Road on the north side opposite No 14/16 and 18/20 Station Road.

3. Full details are available for inspection together with the deposit documents for the orders referred to above and can be inspected for a period of 21 days either through www.haveringtraffweb.co.uk or s in the Public Advice and Service Centre, London Borough of Havering, Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Friday. Further information may also be obtained via or schemes@havering.gov.uk.

4. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Traffic and Parking Group Manager Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BB until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
