1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham on 24 April 2017 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The effect of the Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the Newham (Prescribed Routes) (No. 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2015 which came into force on 16 November 2015.

3. The above experimental Order exempts maintenance, refuse and other essential vehicles at locations in the streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice where vehicles, except buses, are prohibited (imposed by the Orders specified in the Schedule).

4. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 2 May 2017, and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
