                  PLACES IN VARIOUS ROADS</span></h3>

               <p data-gazettes="Text"><em>(Note: This notice is about proposals to remove certain disabled persons’ parking
                     places where they are no longer required and introduce new disabled persons’ parking
                     places where they are needed. In controlled parking zones, this would involve (a)
                     the introduction of new parking space where the disabled persons’ parking places are
                     removed; and (b) the removal of some existing parking space to accommodate the new
                     disabled persons’ parking places. Some disabled persons’ parking places would be extended
                     in length and an additional length of double yellow line waiting restrictions would
                     be imposed in Evandale Road. Objections or comments may be made – see paragraph 6.)</em></p>

               <p data-gazettes="Text">1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth propose
                  to make the Lambeth (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. -) Order 201-, the
                  Lambeth (Brixton “B”) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Brixton “E”)
                  (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Brixton Hill East) (Parking Places)
                  (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Clapham “C”) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-,
                  the Lambeth (Clapham “L”) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Camberwell)
                  (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Herne Hill) (Parking Places) (No.
                  -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Kennington) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth
                  (Poets Corner) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Stockwell) (Parking
                  Places) (No. -) Order 201-, the Lambeth (Thornton) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order
                  201-, the Lambeth (Free Parking Places) (Limited Time) (No. -) Order 201- and the
                  Lambeth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. -) Order 201-, under sections
                  6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation
                  Act 1984, as amended.

               <p data-gazettes="Text">2. The general effect of the Orders would be:</p>
            </div>
            <div data-gazettes="P">
               <p data-gazettes="Text">(1) to remove the disabled persons’ parking places from the locations specified in
                  Schedule 1 to this Notice;
               </p>
            </div>
            <div data-gazettes="P">
               <p data-gazettes="Text">(2) to introduce new disabled persons’ parking places at the locations specified in
                  Schedule 2 to this Notice (these parking places would be 6.6 metres long and they
                  would operate at any time and be for the use of vehicles displaying a disabled person’s
                  “blue badge” only);
               </p>
            </div>
            <div data-gazettes="P">
               <p data-gazettes="Text">(3) where the locations are in a controlled parking zone, to extend any parking space
                  adjacent to the locations specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice so as to replace
                  the removed disabled persons’ parking places, and to remove any existing parking space
                  at the locations specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice so as to accommodate the new
                  disabled persons’ parking places; and
               </p>
            </div>

               <p data-gazettes="Text">(4) in Evandale Road, in addition to the changes referred to in paragraphs (2) and
                  (3) above, to extend the double yellow line waiting restrictions outside No. 22 for
                  an additional 4 metres up to the proposed new disabled persons’ parking place;
               </p>

            <div data-gazettes="P">
               <p data-gazettes="Text">(5) to extend the length of the existing disabled persons’ parking places to 6.6 metres
                  at the following locations: (a) Santley Street outside Nos. 12 and 14; (b) Weir Road,
                  outside No. 1a and Nos. 1 to 8 Charlwood Mansions.
               </p>

               <p data-gazettes="Text">3. The Orders are necessary to remove certain disabled persons’ parking places where
                  they are no longer required, to provide new disabled persons’ parking places so as
                  to improve parking facilities for disabled persons where they are needed and to extend
                  the length of certain existing disabled persons’ parking places to meet current regulations.
                  The extension of the double yellow lines in Evandale Road is necessary to facilitate
                  the flow of traffic.

                  as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at: the offices of
