The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.30) Order 2016” authorising the stopping up of a rectangular shaped eastern part width of the B6306, Eastgate which lies adjacent to the western boundary of Danielle’s Bistro, No. 12 Eastgate at Hexham, in the County of Northumberland to enable development as permitted by Northumberland County Council, reference 16/00333/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/2339) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Hexham Library, Queens Hall, Beaumont Street, Hexham NE46 3LS.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 29 July 2016 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
