- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the Orders will be;
Waiting and Loading and Parking Places
- a Boot Street – remove permit parking bay on south side adjacent to Pitfield Street and replace with double yellow lines
- b Coronet Street – insert permit bay on the north side replacing existing double yellow lines
- c Pitfield Street—
- i remove permit bay on the east side north of Coronet Street replacing with double yellow lines
- ii introduce inset permit bay on east side opposite Buckland Court
- iii reduce the length of permit bay on the east side outside 142-160 Pitfield Street and replace with double yellow lines
- iv remove permit bay on the west side south of Buckland Court and replace with Cycle Hire parking
- v remove double yellow lines on the east side north of Purcell Street and insert permit bay
- vi remove permit bay on the west side outside Buckland Court and replace with double yellow lines
- vii reduce the length of permit bay by 38m and replace with double yellow lines outside 1-25 Hemsworth Court
- viii remove all loading, shared use and electric vehicle bays between the junction with Fanshaw Street and the junction with Ashford Street replacing with double yellow lines
- ix extend existing cycle hire opposite No 172 Pitfield Street replacing existing permit parking bay
- x Extend no waiting at any time restrictions across Pitfield Street along the southern kerbline of Boot Street/Charles Square
- d Chart Street – insert loading bay on the south side replacing double yellow lines and single yellow lines
- e Haberdasher Street – No waiting at any time restrictions (DYL) extended to new junction with Pitfield Street
- f Bevenden Street – Rearrangement of DYL where Bevenden Street now joins New North Road
- g New North Road—
- i introduce shared use bay on the north side opposite 1-40 Leonard Court
- ii introduce new shared use bay on the south side outside 1-40 Leonard Court
- iii introduce new 15m electric vehicle bays on north eastern side of New North Road replacing zig zag markings
- iv Mintern Street – extend the permit bay on the south side outside 52/113 Buckland Court
- h Whitmore Road – introduce carriageway cycle parking on the east side north of Orsman Street and remove existing double yellow lines
- i De Beauvoir Road—
- i Reduce resident bay on the west side outside Portfleet Place and replace with double yellow lines
- ii Relocate disabled bay and ambulance bay and replace with double yellow lines
- iii Amend the location of the permit parking on the western side opposite No 11 – 90 Lancrasse Court whilst amending associated double yellow lines
- j Culford Road—
- i Extend resident bay on west side outside 135/139 Culford Road
- ii Extend permit bay on the east side adjacent to 45 Buckingham Road
- iii Change single yellow to double yellow lines on the eastern side between Tottenham Road and Buckingham Road
- k Defoe Road – change single yellow lines to double yellow lines between House and Selkirk House
- l Hyde Road—
- i introduce additional permit parking bays on the northern side opposite the Britannia Leisure Centre replacing double yellow lines
- ii Introduce additional permit parking bays on the southern side outside the Britannia Leisure Centre replacing existing double yellow lines
- m Wordsworth Road—
- i Reduce shared use bays just north of Barrett’s Grove and replace with double yellow lines
- ii Reduce shared use bay on eastern side of just south of Barrett’s Grove and replace with double yellow lines
- iii Reduce double yellow lines on the northern side of Matthias Rd outside 8-18 Matthias Rd.
- iv Rreduce shared use bay on northern side of Matthias Rd outside 8-18 Matthias Rd and relocate whole bay 3m northwest.
- v Introduce 6m of no waiting at any time restrictions on the eastern side from a point 4m north of the southern property boundary of 2 Pellerin Road
- vi Introduce 10m of no waiting at any time restrictions from the southern kerb line of Pellerin Road to the existing resident bay
Moving Traffic
- 3 Plans of the proposed measures can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until a period of 21 days from the date, on which this notice is published, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Keltan House, 89-115 Mare Street, London, E8 4RU. - 4 Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to the Interim Assistant Director (Parking, Markets and Streetscene) at the address specified in paragraph 3 above until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
