THE QUEEN has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 27 October 2015 to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom for life upon The Right Honourable Dame Tessa Jane Helen Douglas Jowell, D.B.E., by the name, style and title of BARONESS JOWELL, of Brixton in the London Borough of Lambeth.
