THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (CAMDEN) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 VARIATION ORDER 2015

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 26th October 2015 it made the above named Orders, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into force on 2nd November 2015.

2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to change the existing underlying controls in the King’s Cross area from Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm to Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm to ease congestion during peak hours of traffic flow.

3. The roads which would be affected by the Orders are Kings Cross Road, Penton Rise, Pentonville Road, Northdown Road, Weston Rise, Acton Street, Gray’s Inn Yard, Affleck Street and Swinton Street in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington.

4. A copy of the Orders, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Orders revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
