THE HARINGEY (HIGHGATE STATION OUTER) (DESIGNATIONS)(AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2015
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey propose to make the above mentioned Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to:—
(a) extend the double yellow lines on Stanhope Road, N6, the north-east side, (i) at the side of No. 47 Avenue Road (by a distance of 8 metres); opposite No. 22 (by a distance of 5 metres);
(b) remove parking spaces at the locations specified above.
3. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey propose introduce new road humps/speed tables and amend existing road humps in Stanhope Road, N6 at the following locations:—
(a) replace “speed ramps” with “sinusoidal road humps” (i) outside Nos. 18 to 22 Elmcroft; (ii) by the junction with Wychwood End; (iii) outside No. 1 Stanhope Road; (iv) outside No. 21 Stanhope Road;
(b) introduce new speed tables (i) at the side of No. 47 Avenue Road; (ii) approximately 15 metres west of its junction with Claremont Road.
[Sinusoidal Road Humps – approximately 4 metres in length, covering the full width of the carriageway and a maximum height of 100mm form the surrounding carriageway.]
[Speed tables – approximately 9 metres in length, covering the full width of the carriageway and a maximum height of 100mm form the surrounding carriageway.]
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the Orders being amended and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders and road humps/speed tables may be inspected during a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published, during normal office working hours at Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (North), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders
5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or road humps/speed tables or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (North), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or to traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk within 21 days of the date on which this Notice is published.
