NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 16th February 2015 at 2.00 p.m. for an Order pursuant to Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number SU15) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected free-of-charge during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

SCHEDULE

The section of highway to be stopped up is situated south east of Marina Way/Middleton Road roundabout. The area of highway to be closed is off-set 2.7 metres from the footway and is 155 metres in length and the width varies from 0.1 metres to 11 metres.
