GRAFTON WAY PEDESTRIAN CROSSING

Under Sections 23 the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Council plans to move a zebra crossing 6 metres in an East North-Easterly direction to a new location slightly further along Grafton Way to make space for relocating the hospital entrance of Beaumont Place. Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden propose to make these Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general nature and effect of the orders will be to extend the existing solo motorcycle bay outside number 92 on Haverstock Hill, to a length of 5 metres; To remove the existing single yellow line, disabled, doctors and ambulance bays outside numbers 12 to 17 on the north-west side of the north-west arm of Fitzroy square and mark a 39.6 metre stretch of double yellow line with a no loading restriction between the hours of 4:00pm to 8:00am; To place School Keep Clear markings on Chalton Street, opposite the junction with Cranleigh Street for a length of 28 metres, operational between the hours 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday: To introduce a one-way working in Camden Mews in a north-easterly to south-westerly direction from the junction of York Way leading to Camden Park Road.

A copy of the proposed orders and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the orders may be inspected/obtained at the Contact Camden reception desk, Camden Town offices, 5 Pancras Square, N1C 4AG. Any person wishing to object or make representations to the proposed orders, should send your comments in writing, giving your reasons for any objection to the Director of Culture and Environment, Transport Strategy Service, Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, London WC1H 9JE, to reach this Department by 30 January 2015 within 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
