THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (County of Shropshire) (No.2) Order 2008 “authorising the stopping up of highway at Vanguard Way, Shrewsbury.

THE ORDER as made, will authorise the Stopping Up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council on 20th July 2007 under reference 07/0590/F.

Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, Sustainable Futures Directorate, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW (quoting reference: SFD/T/5072/88523) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Library at the Lantern, Meadow Farm Drive, Harlescott, Shrewsbury SY1 4NG.

ANY person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the 18th March 2008 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.
