NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF THE ‘SIGNIFICANT WATER MANAGEMENT ISSUES’ CONSULTATION DOCUMENT, UNDER REGULATION 12(1)(B) OF THE WATER ENVIRONMENT (WATER FRAMEWORK DIRECTIVE) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2003.

The Environment Agency and Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) have published a consultation document for Solway Tweed River Basin District called ‘Significant Water Management Issues in the Scotland River Basin District’. This document is the second in a series of three publications for public consultation, allowing anyone with an interest in the water environment or the River Basin Planning process the opportunity to comment.

The consultation runs until 8 April 2008 and any person may make representations to us by completing the online response form on SEPA’s website www.sepa.org.uk.
