THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 200*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under Sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to amend the existing residents permit parking places on Gee Street in order to introduce a footway buildout on Gee Street for introduction of cycle parking facilities. 2 residents permit parking places would be lost as a result of these proposals. 3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to further amend the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Consolidation Order 2004 so that waiting restrictions are provided in the lengths of street referred to in the Schedule to this Notice the waiting restrictions would be amended so that they would apply “at any time”. 4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA Further information may be obtained by telephoning Street Management on extension 020 7527 2857. 5. Any person who wishes to object or to make other representations about the proposed Order should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA (quoting reference TMO/AC/2051), within the period of twenty one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
