1. Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: convert a 5.5 metre section of residents’ parking to a ‘White Badge’ disabled parking space immediately north of the southernmost exit to the carriageway outside North Gate; introduce a new residents’ parking place of 32 metres between the two central exit points of the carriageway outside North Gate; introduce double yellow “at any time” restrictions at the northernmost exit point and both central exit points of the carriageway outside North Gate. 3. The proposed Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, West One, telephone number (020) 7798 1975. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, quoting Ref 5154/GM, by 9 June 2006.
