NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Mid Kent Water of Snodland, Kent TN17 1ED, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 05/092 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Ashdown Beds strata at Goudhurst Pumping Station, Bluecoats Lane, Goudhurst, Kent.
The variation being applied for the inclusion of a new borehole at National Grid Ref TQ7088 3701 into the existing licence without increasing the overall licenced average or peak output quantities, subject to a maximum output from the new borehole of 1,000 cubic metres per day.
A copy of the application and associated maps, plans and reports submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Village Enterprise, The Heath, Horsmonden, Kent between 23 September 2005 and 21 October 2005.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so to the Environment Agency at Orchard House, Endeavour Park, London Road, Addington, West Malling, Kent ME19 5SH, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
