THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (1997, NO 53) (AMENDMENT NO 99) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 9 June 2005 an Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This Order introduces new waiting restrictions and amends existing waiting restrictions in the following roads: (1)A new section of At Any Time waiting restriction will be introduced on the north-eastern side of Fuller Street, London NW4, from the south-western flank wall of No 29 Fuller Street to a point 1.5 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 31 and 33 Fuller Street in order to prevent obstructive parking and improve traffic flow. (2)A new section of Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm waiting restriction will be introduced on both sides of Handowe Close, London NW4, from its junction with Rickard Close and Heton Gardens to a point 1 metre north of the southern flank wall of No 4 Swynford Gardens in order to prevent obstructive parking and improve traffic flow. (3)The existing Monday to Friday 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm waiting restriction outside No 5 The Grove, London N3, will be upgraded to Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm to prevent obstructive parking between driveways. (4)The existing At Any Time waiting restrictions on Squires Lane, London N3, will be extended to 10 metres north-east of its junction with Heatherton Terrace, London N3, to improve sight lines for vehicles exiting Heatherton Terrace onto Squires Lane. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday 20 June 2005, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a)Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP; and (b)The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
