TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Bromley (“The Council”) hereby give notice that they propose making an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway being land fronting the Post Office site at Beckenham Road, Beckenham BR3 1AA. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to the Christian Outreach Centre London (South East) by the London Borough of Bromley on 6 September 2001 under Ref DC/01/01789/43 and to South East Living on 23 May 2003 under Ref DC/03/00182/41. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the offices of the London Borough of Bromley, Main Enquiry Desk, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 21 August 2003 by notice to the Chief Legal Officer, London Borough of Bromley, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref L12. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of such an objection may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
