THE KINGSTON-UPON-THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 2/2000) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000
CRANES PARK AREA

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames on 27th January 2000, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). The general effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 7th February 2000, would be to further amend the Kingston-upon-Thames (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1994, so that: (a) in those lengths of carriageway specified in the Schedule waiting restrictions (otherwise for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle) will be introduced to apply “At Any Time” (b) proposed loading restrictions will not be introduced. A copy of the Order, plans which indicate the location and effect of the Order, a copy of the Kingston-upon-Thames (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1994, a copy of the press notice and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made at the Second Floor Reception area, Guildhall 2, Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 1EU (between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive); and at Kingston Library, Fairfield Road, Kingston (during normal opening hours). Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Directorate of Environmental Services (Engineering and Transportation), Guildhall 2, Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 1EU. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks of the making of the Order make application for the purpose to the High Court. (b) The east and north-east sides: (i) between a point 4 metres south-east of the common boundary of No. 56 Cranes Park and No. 5 Cranes Park Avenue and a point 4 metres south-east of the party wall of Nos. 50 and 52 Cranes Park; (ii) between a point 10 metres north-west of the northern kerb-line of Cranes Drive and a point 10 metres south-east of the southern kerb-line of Cranes Drive; (iii) between a point 12 metres south of a point opposite the southern flank wall of “Villiers Lodge”, Cranes Park and its junction with Villiers Avenue. Cranes Park Avenue, Surbiton: (1) The eastern arm: (a) The north-west side: (i) between the north-eastern kerb-line of Cranes Park and a point 8.5 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western flank wall of No. 54 Cranes Park; (ii) between a point 15 metres south-west of the north-western kerb-line of Villiers Avenue and that kerb-line. (b) The south-east side: (i) between the north-eastern kerb-line of Cranes Park and a point 8.5 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western flank wall of No. 54 Cranes Park; (ii) between a point 15 metres south-west of the north-western kerb-line of Villiers Avenue and that kerb-line. (2) The western arm: (a) The north-west side, between a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Cranes Park and that kerb-line. (b) The south-east side, between a point 12 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Cranes Park and that kerb-line. Villiers Avenue, Surbiton: (a) between its junction with Villiers Road and Lingfield Avenue and the southern kerb-line of Lower Marsh Lane. (b) The west side: (i) between a point 10 metres north of the north-eastern kerb-line of Cranes Park Avenue and a point 9.7 metres north of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 93 and 95 Villiers Avenue; (ii) between a point 6 metres south of the north-western flank wall of The Rising Sun Public House and its junction with Lambert’s Road. 28th January 2000.
