NOTICE OF PERMANENT PROHIBITION
DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A548 WELLINGTON ROAD, RHYL) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING)
Notice is hereby given that Denbighshire County Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit the waiting of vehicles on the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. Exceptions will be provided in the proposed Order to permit waiting for the purposes of alighting, boarding, loading, unloading and works of maintenance, repair and the like. Exceptions will also be provided in the proposed Order to allow vehicles displaying both a disabled persons badge and a disabled person’s parking disc to wait on the length of road for a period not exceeding three hours (not being a period separated by an interval of less than 1 hour from a previous period of waiting by the same vehicle on the same day). The County Council of Clwyd (A548 Wellington Road and various other roads, Rhyl) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1994 is to be amended in so far as the proposed Order relates to the above length of road. A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the length of road to which the proposed Order relates, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at Russell House, Churton Road, Rhyl, and at Rhyl Library, Church Street, Rhyl, during normal working hours. Objections to the proposed Order, together with the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by 10th January 1999. I. K.
