Stopping-up of Unnecessary Highways
Cherry Place and Associated Footpaths, Leeds 9

Notice is hereby given that Leeds City Council intend to apply to the Leeds District Magistrates Court sitting at The Courthouse, Westgate, Leeds, on Friday, 11th December 1998, at 10 a.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the following highways described in the Schedule hereto on the ground that they are unnecessary.
  The highways to be stopped up are shown by black hatching and bold black lines on the plan deposited at the offices of the Legal Services Agency, Leeds City Council, Room 213, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR, and may be inspected there, free of charge, during normal office hours.
  Any person wishing to object to the proposal or make representations about it, may appear at the Leeds District Magistrates Court on the date aforesaid. Any person intending to appear before the Court at the hearing of the application is asked to notify the Legal Services Agency, Leeds City Council, Room 213, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR (quoting Ref. A76/JAK/865048.)

Description of highways to be stopped up

   Cherry Place, Leeds 9, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 105 metres in a north-easterly and then south-easterly direction to its end (total closure);
  Footpath 1, from its junction with Cherry Place for a distance of 46 metres in an east-south-easterly direction and then 32 metres in a south-south-westerly direction to its junction with Lincoln Green Road (total closure);
  Footpath 2, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 45 metres to its junction with the garage forecourt to the rear of The Granville Public House (total closure);
  Footpath 3, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 22 metres to the entrance to 1-25 Lincoln Green Road (total closure);
  Footpath 4, from its junction with footpath 1 for a distance of 75 metres to its junction with Footpath 2 (total closure);
  Footpath 5, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 20 metres to its junction with Footpath 4 (total closure);
  Footpath 6, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 10 metres to the entrance of 27-49 Lincoln Green Road (total closure);
  Footpath 7, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 6 metres to the entrance to 51-73 Lincoln Green Road (total closure);
  Footpath 8, from its junction with Cromwell Mount for a distance of 8 metres to the entrance to 1-25 Cromwell Mount (total closure);
  Footpath 9, from its junction with Cromwell Street for a distance of 18 metres in a north-north-easterly direction, then 35 metres in an east-south-easterly direction and then 17 metres in a south-south-westerly direction to its junction with Cromwell Mount (total closure);
  Footpath 10, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 74 metres in a generally south-south-westerly direction to its junction with Footpath 9 (total closure);
  Footpath 11, from its junction with Footpath 10 for a distance of 57 metres in an east-south-easterly direction to its end (total closure);
  Footpath 12, from its junction with Lincoln Green Road for a distance of 9 metres to its junction with Footpath 11 (total closure);
