Notice is hereby given by the Trustees of the Sidmouth Cricket Ground Trust formed in 1935 that a Subscribers Meeting (“the Meeting”) will be held on Friday, 25th April 2025 at 12.00 noon at Sidmouth Cricket, Tennis, and Croquet Club, Fortfield Terrace, Sidmouth EX10 8NT for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving the proposal (“the Proposal”) to give to the Club the Cricket Ground held by the Trust on trust for the Subscribers, and thereafter to dissolve and wind up the Trust. Voting at the Meeting will be by poll and proxy voting is available to persons who do not or cannot attend the Meeting.

Details of the Proposal and a list of Subscribers entitled to receive notice of, and to vote at Subscriber Meetings, are available on the Club’s website at https://tinyurl.com/sidmouth1935 . Any person that is, or believes they are or may be, an heir of a Subscriber and who wishes to attend the Meeting or to submit a proxy vote should contact the Trustees by email at groundtrustees@sidmouthctcc.org.uk as soon as possible, but in any case by no later than Tuesday, 25th February 2025, in order that their right to attend the Meeting or to submit a proxy vote can be verified by the Trustees.
