1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended (‘the 1984 Act’).

2. The effect of the Orders would be, on a permanent basis, to introduce any necessary changes to existing highway restrictions to accommodate footway widening in the vicinity of various schools:-

(a) in BURCHER GALE GROVE within CPZ ‘R’, north-west side o/s Angel Oak Academy remove two permit holders’ parking places (74m total);

(b) in COBOURG ROAD within CPZ ‘T’, north-west side o/s Cobourg Primary School remove two ‘shared-use’ parking places (40m total);

(c) to add 51m of ‘at any time’ loading restrictions (double kerb blips) in JENNINGS ROAD north side o/s Heber Primary School; and

(d) to add or amend ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) outside the following schools:-

Angel Oak Academy - BURCHER GALE GROVE north-west side add 116.5m;

The Belham Primary School - BELLENDEN ROAD south-east side add 5m;

Charlotte Sharman Primary School - WEST SQUARE north-west side add 25.5m;

Cobourg Primary School - COBOURG ROAD on both sides add 103.5m total and LONCROFT ROAD north side add 4m;

Galleywall Primary - GALLEYWALL ROAD south-west side replace existing;

Globe Academy Primary School - HARPER ROAD east side add 104m total,

Goodrich Community Primary School - DUNSTANS ROAD north-west side add 48m, GOODRICH ROAD on both sides add 45m total, and UPLAND ROAD on both sides add 88m total;

Heber Primary School - JENNINGS ROAD north side add 51m;

John Ruskin Primary School - JOHN RUSKIN STREET south-east side add 63m;

London Christian School Ltd. - TABARD STREET south-west side replace existing

; Peckham Park Primary School - MARMONT ROAD south-east side add 70.5m; and

St Anthony's RC Primary School - ETHEROW STREET on both sides add 78.5m total.

NOTES: (1) These Orders supersede similar provisions at the above locations implemented by way of experimental Orders made under section 9 of the 1984 Act (which would be revoked); (2) All measurements are in metres ‘m’ and are approximate. Parking charges are listed on www.southwark.gov.uk/parking.
