NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER OF BONA VACANTIA

WHEREAS JOHN WOODROW & SONS (BUILDERS) LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts under Company number SC090794 was dissolved on 24 January 2001; AND WHEREAS in terms of section 654 of the Companies Act 1985 all property and rights whatsoever vested in or held on trust for a dissolved company immediately before its dissolution are deemed to be bona vacantia ; AND WHEREAS immediately before its dissolution the said John Woodrow & Sons (Builders) Limited was the Tenant under a Lease between the Trustees of the Rankin Pension Fund and Retirement Benefit Scheme and the said John Woodrow & Sons (Builders) Limited, dated 21 December 1990 and registered in the Land Register of Scotland under Title Number REN70407, of ALL and WHOLE subjects on the North side of Main Street, Bridge of Weir, sometime known as McAlpine’s Land; AND WHEREAS the dissolution of the said John Woodrow & Sons (Builders) Limited came to my notice on 17 April 2014: Now THEREFORE I, CATHERINE PATRICIA DYER, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in pursuance of section 1013 of the Companies Act 2006, do by this Notice disclaim the Crown’s whole right and title in and to the Tenant’s interest under the said Lease.
