THE EALING (PARKING PLACES) (STOP AND SHOP WITH ADDITIONAL CASHLESS PARKING) (AMENDMENT NO.8) ORDER 2014
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing on the 6th February 2014 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the Prescribed Routes Order will be to prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Greenford Road to enter the service road fronting Nos. 353 to 413 Greenford Road at its north-easternmost extremity (opposite No. 413 Greenford Road).
- 3 The general effect of the Waiting Restriction Order will to be to impose double yellow line waiting restrictions applying “at any time” in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
- 4 The general effect of the Parking Places Orders will be to provide free 1 hour maximum stay parking places in the service road which lies on the north-west side of Greenford Road fronting Nos.353 to 413 Greenford Road which will operate between 8 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays. The bays will be located on the north-west outside Nos. 397 to 413 and in a an inset lay by on the south-east side opposite Nos. 405 to 411
These bays will additionally allow vehicles to remain beyond the free parking period for an additional period of up to 2 hours on payment of a parking charge of £2 including the 20 pence transaction fee. The parking charge will be payable by mobile phone using the telephone payment parking system operated by RingGo whilst parked in the parking place
- 5 Users of the telephone payment system should follow the instructions displayed in the parking place quoting the unique number relating to that parking place to the service provider and providing information as requested. Payment of the parking charge can then be made using most debit and credit cards. An optional charge of 10 pence will be payable to the service provider for text receipt for the parking session and expiry of parking reminder text messages. - 6 The Orders, which will come into operation on 10th February 2014, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 20th March 2014.
- 7 If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

- i between a point 4.6 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 393 and 395 Greenford Road and a point 1metre north-east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 401/403 and 405/407Greenford Road;
- ii between a point 1.3 metres north-east of the party wall of Nos. 409 and 411 Greenford Road and a point 4.7 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 417/419 and Nos. 421/423 Greenford Road.

(A) between a point 4.70 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 393 and 395 Greenford Road and a point 0.5 metres south-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 401/403 and 405/407Greenford Road, including the gap between the island sites connecting the service road with the main carriageway;
(B) between a point 3.2 metres south-west of the south-western side of the gap lying opposite No. 413 Greenford Road connecting the service road with the main carriageway and north-western kerb-line of Greenford Road;
- ii the north-western side, between the north-western kerb-line of Greenford Road and a point 4.9 metres south-east of a point opposite the south-eastern wall of Nos. 417/419 Greenford Road.
