THE HARINGEY (FREE LOADING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2013

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Order would be to:—
    • a introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting and loading restrictions on new road layouts in The Hale; Ferry Lane; Watermead Way; Station Road and the ’new access road leading to Tottenham Hale Station’, N17;
    • b no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a direction other than in:—
      • i a north-easterly direction in Station Road, N17;
      • ii an easterly direction in Tottenham Green East South Side, N15;
      • iii a north-westerly direction in Tottenham Green East, N15;
      • iv an easterly direction in Tynemouth Road, N15, between its junction with Copperfield Drive and its junction with Antill Road;
    • c introduce x3 free parking bays on Hale Road, N17, opposite the westernmost entrance to the BP garage;
    • d introduce a new at any time loading bay and new taxi parking places in the ‘new access road leading to Tottenham Hale Station’, N17.
  • 3 FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey gives notice of introducing new cycle lanes at the following locations:—
    • a Hale Road, N17, the north-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 7 and 9 Hale Road to the easternmost access road leading to the BP station;
    • b Ferry Lane, N17, the south side, from a point 8 metres east of the eastern wall of No. 9 Tottenham Hale Retail Park eastward for a distance of 59 metres.
  • 4 Copies of the proposed Orders, the Orders being amended and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders and cycle lanes may be inspected during a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published, during normal office working hours at Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (North), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders
  • 5 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders/cycle lanes or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (North), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or to traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk within 21 days of the date on which this Notice is published.
