- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (20 m.p.h. Speed Limit) (No. *) Traffic Order 201*, the Enfield (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* under sections 6, 84(1), 84(2) and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to:
- a introduce a 20 mph speed limit for motor vehicles in the streets and parts of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
- b introduce new “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions in parts of the streets specified in the third paragraph of the heading to this Notice, which are mainly at the junctions of those streets;
- c introduce new “Mon—Fri 8—9.30am 3—6.30pm loading restrictions on parts of Falcon Road EN3 and South Street EN3; and
- d introduce a new school keep clear marking in Falcon Road EN3 as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
- 3 FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that it is proposed to introduce three bus stop clearways in South Street EN3 specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice. (Note: the new bus stop clearways which would operate at any time are depicted by the approved signs and road markings and do not need to be implemented by way of a traffic order).
- 4 A copy of each of the proposed Orders, of a map indicating the locations and effects of the proposed Orders, the bus stop clearways, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and any other relevant documents can be inspected at the Reception Desk, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
- 5 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders, or make any other representations in respect of them should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to the Head of Traffic and Transportation, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD, quoting the reference TG52/1074, by 19 December 2012.
- 6 Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may, upon written request, be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

(20 m.p.h. Speed Limit to operate in the following streets and part of streets in EN3)
Falcon Road EN3, Falcon Crescent EN3, Gardiner Close EN3, Hobby Street EN3, Naylor Grove EN3, Nelson Road EN3, South Place EN3, Sutherland Road EN3 and Wadsworth Close EN3 (their entire lengths), South Street EN3 (Part) and Woodall Road EN3 (Part).
SCHEDULE 2
(Extent of school keep clear marking to operate ‘Monday to Friday 8.15 am to 4 pm’)
Falcon Road EN3, the east side, from a point 2 metres north of the northern wall of No. 56 Falcon Road EN3 southward for a distance of 31.56 metres.

(Extent of bus stop clearways to operate ‘At any time’)
South Street EN3—
North side:—
- a from a point 15.5 metres east of the eastern wall of No. 84 South Street EN3 eastward for a distance of 19 metres;
- b from a point 2.5 metres west of the western wall of No. 167 South Street EN3 westward for a distance of 19 metres; and
South side:—
- a from a point 1 metres west of the eastern wall of No. 141 South Street EN3 westward for a distance of 19 metres.
