NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley hereinafter called “the Council” on 2nd April 2012 made the above-mentioned Orders under Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, which will come into operation on 30th April 2012.

The effect of the Orders is to:—

(1) vary the charges payable in respect of the on-street parking places at:

(a) High Street and Royal Parade, Chislehurst as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Chislehurst Area) Order 2012, as amended;

Fairway, Nightingale Road, Petts Wood Road, Queensway, Station Square, Woodhurst Avenue and Woodland Way, Petts Wood as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Petts Wood Area) Order 2001, as amended;

Station Approach, Hayes as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 50p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 60p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(b) Fairfield Road, High Street, Kelsey Park Road and St. Georges Road, Beckenham as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Beckenham Area) Order 2012, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 50p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 70p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(c) Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley; Maple Road, Penge and Beckenham Road, Beckenham as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 30p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 50p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(d) High Street, Penge as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 40p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 50p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(e) Crofton Road and Princess Parade, Locksbottom as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 50p per hour up to 2 hours, £2.50 up to 3 hours. 3 hour maximum stay. to 60p per hour.3 hour maximum stay.

(f) Aynscombe Angle and Bruce Grove, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 50p per hour. 3 hour maximum stay. to 70p per hour. 3 hour maximum stay.

(g) Augustus Lane, High Street (part of), Lychgate Road and White Hart Road, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 60p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 70p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(h) Chatterton Road, Bromley as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 50p per hour. 4 hour maximum stay. to 60p per hour. 4 hour maximum stay.

(i) Upper Elmers End Road, Beckenham as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 40p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to 60p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(j) Chislehurst Road, High Street (part of) and Spur Road (main section), Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places) (Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 60p per hour. 4 hour maximum stay. to 70p per hour. 4 hour maximum stay.

(k) Albemarle Road and Rectory Road, Beckenham as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

Gravel Pit Way, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be amended from 50p per hour. No maximum stay. to 50p per hour. No maximum stay. Maximum £4 over 8 hours.

(l) Ledrington Road, Anerley and Upper Elmers End Road (Eden Park station), Beckenham as specified in Schedule 4 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

Knoll Rise and Orchard Grove, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 30p per hour. No maximum stay. to 50p per hour. No maximum stay. Maximum £4 over 8 hours.

(m) Bark Hart Road, Crofton Road, Hillcrest Road, Hillview Road, Mayfield Avenue, Newstead Avenue, Oakhill Road, Spur Road (slip roads), The Approach, The Avenue, The Drive, Tower Road and York Rise, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 40p per hour. No maximum stay. to 50p per hour. No maximum stay. Maximum £4 over 8 hours.

(n) Berwick Way and Vinson Close, Orpington as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (On Street Parking Places)(Orpington Area) Order 2006, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be reduced from 60p per hour. No maximum stay. to 50p per hour. No maximum stay. Maximum £4 over 8 hours.

(o) Churchill Way, East Street, Elmfield Road (part of), Ethelbert Road, High Street, North Street, Queens Road, Ravensbourne Road, Ringers Road, South Street and West Street, Bromley as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from £1.10 per hour. 2 hour maximum stay. to £1.50 per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.

(p) Aylesbury Road, College Road, Harwood Avenue, Hayes Road, Park Road, Palace Grove, Palace View (part of), St. Blaise Avenue, Sherman Road and Simpsons Road, Bromley as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 80p per hour. 4 hour maximum stay. to £1.10 per hour. 4 hour maximum stay.

(q) Aldermary Road, Babbacombe Road, Blyth Road, Cromwell Avenue, Cromwell Close, Florence Road, Glebe Road, Hammelton Road, Palace View (part of), Pinewood Road, Rafford Way, Sandford Road, Station Road, Streamside Close and The Chase, Bromley as specified in Schedule 1 of The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004, as amended;

The charge for a vehicle left in a parking place referred to above shall be increased from 60p per hour. No maximum stay. to 80p per hour. No maximum stay.

(2) vary the charges payable in respect of residential, business and visitors’ permits:

• a from £55 to £65 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Bromley inner area (Zone A);
• b from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Bromley outer area (Zones B & C);
• c from £85 to £100 per annum per vehicle for business use in the Bromley outer area (Zones B & C);
• d from £50 to £65 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Anerley area (Zone D);
• e from £65 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Locksbottom area (Zone E);
• f from £210 to £225 per annum per vehicle for business use in the Locksbottom area (Zone LB);
• g from £70 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Beckenham area (Zone F);
• h from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Orpington area (Zone H);
• i from £65 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Orpington area (Zone I);
• j from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Orpington area (Zone K);
• k from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Orpington area (Zone WAL);
• l from £25 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Burnt Ash Lane area (Zone G);
• m from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Burnt Ash Lane area (Zone J);
• n from £55 to £65 per annum per vehicle for residents in Camden Grove, Chislehurst (Zone N);
• o from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Chatterton Village area (Zone W);
• p from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Clockhouse area, Beckenham (Zone 1);
• q from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Clockhouse area, Beckenham (Zones 2-4);
• r from £85 to £100 per annum per vehicle for business use in the Clockhouse area (Zones 1-4);
• s from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Copers Cope Road area, Beckenham (Zones R & R3);
• t from £35 to £40 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Elms Estate area, Chislehurst (Zone ELM);
• u from £50 to £65 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Farnborough Village area (Zone FV);
• v from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Maple Road area, Penge (Zone MAP);
• w from £85 to £100 per annum per vehicle for business use in the Maple Road area, Penge (Zone MAP);
• x from £75 to £80 per annum per vehicle for residents in the Petts Wood area (Zone S);
• y from £30 to £35 per book of fifteen (15) one day visitors' permits, subject to a maximum of one book per qualifying person per year.

A copy of the Orders can be inspected until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
