In addition, the proposals would remove 2m of residents’ parking space outside no. 1 Birkenhead Street whilst creating 9.6m of residents’ parking space outside nos. 4, 5 and 6 in place of the single yellow line restrictions currently in force. They would also extend the Pay and Display parking place opposite nos. 1-5 Queen Square at the south-eastern end.

Other changes made by these Orders will alter the arrangement of residents’ and pay and display parking places on the west side of Rosebery Avenue, EC1, north of the junction with Laystall Street which will create an additional residents’ parking space. They would remove a residents’ parking space in Heath Hurst Road, NW3, in order to facilitate the creation of a dedicated disabled parking space and amalgamate two residents’ parking places in Leverton Street, NW5, with the creation of an additional space due to the removal of a dedicated disabled parking space. The orders would also convert a residents’ parking place to a shared-use residents’ / pay and display parking place in Haverstock Hill, NW3, outside the Sir Richard Steele public house and create a new residents’ on the opposite side of the road. Adjustments will be made to residents’ parking places outside 16-19 Keat’s Grove, NW3, to better enable access to adjacent properties and 7.6 metres of residents’ parking space will be removed from outside 13 Bracknell Gardens, NW3, to facilitate a vehicular crossover with extensions being made to parking places outside no. 6 and at the junction with Bracknell Way (footpath) to compensate for the loss. A 5 metre extension would also be made to the residents’ parking place outside 1 Bonny Street, NW3.

Copies of the proposed Orders and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected/obtained at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, first floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.
