  • 1 The London Borough of Hounslow gives notice it has made the above Orders on 7 June 2010 under sections 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Orders will come into operation on 14 June 2010.
  • 2 The above Hounslow Parking Places Orders will update the schedules to incorporate substitutions, insertions and/or revocations of parking places as detailed in Schedule 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 to this Notice.
  • 3 The general effect of the Loading Places Order will be to further amend The London Borough of Hounslow (Loading Places) Order 2009 as detailed in Schedule 6 and 7 to this Notice.
  • 4 The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to further amend the London Borough of Hounslow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2008 so that a portion of no waiting “at any time” restrictions in Oxford Gardens, Chiswick will be removed to allow the implementation of new residents’ bays as detailed in Schedule 8 of this Notice.
  • 5 A copy of: the Orders as made, the above-mentioned Orders of 2008 & 2009, plans showing the length of road to which the Orders relate, and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, can be inspected on-line at www.hounslow.gov.uk or at the Forms and Documents Counter of the reception at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, between the hours of 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Fridays, for a period of six weeks from the date on which this Notice is published. Further information may also be obtained by telephoning the Environment Department on 020 8583 3322.
  • 6 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which these Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

Schedule 1

(amendment to item no. 59 of Stile Hall Area parking scheme for residents’ permit parking place in Oxford Gardens, Chiswick)

Oxford Gardens, Chiswick, south side, from a point 1.0 metres west of the boundary wall of Nos. 13/15 Oxford Gardens to a point opposite the boundary wall of Nos. 31/33 Oxford Gardens.

Schedule 2

(amendment to item no. 1 of the South Street parking scheme for a pay and display parking place in Algar Road, Isleworth to allow a loading parking place)

Algar Road, Isleworth, east side, from a point 12.2 metres south of the southern kerb-line of South Street, southwards for a distance of 9.8 metres.

Schedule 3

(amendment to description of residents’ permit parking in the Osterley Station parking scheme)

Pevensey Close, Isleworth

  • a south-west side, from the north-western kerb-line of Pevensey Close to the south-eastern kerb-line of Pevensey Close – 90 degrees to the kerb-line.
  • b south side, from a point 0.2 metres south-west of the boundary wall of Nos. 27/28 Pevensey Close, south-westwards for a distance of 2.0 metres – 90 degrees to the kerb-line.
  • c north side, from a point 0.3 metres south-west of the boundary wall of Nos. 23/24, north-eastwards for a distance of 2.0 metres – 70 degrees to the kerb-line.

(amendment to item no. 120 of the Hounslow West parking scheme for pay and display parking place)

St. Paul’s Close, Hounslow, south-east side, from a point 14.5 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Bath Road, to a point 22.0 metres south-west of the southernmost wall of No. 79 St. Paul’s Close.
