ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT 1981
THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (A1(M), A614 AND B6045 JUNCTION IMPROVEMENT BLYTH) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER (MP NO 23) 2006
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of his
powers under the above Acts, on 22 May 2006, made with modifications the A1 Trunk
Road (A1(M), A614 and B6045 Junction Improvement Blyth) Compulsory Purchase Order
(MP No 23) 2006.
The Order as made provides for the purchase for the purpose of:
(a) the construction of the new trunk road at Blyth in the parish of Blyth in the
district of Bassetlaw, in the county of Nottinghamshire, in pursuance of the Trunk
Road Order;
(b) the construction and improvement of highways and the provision of new means of
access to premises at Blyth in the district of Bassetlaw, in the county of Nottinghamshire,
in pursuance of the Side Roads Order;
(c) the improvement of the Trunk Road at Blyth, in that said parish and district;
and
(d) use by the Secretary of State for Transport in connection with such construction
and improvement of highways and the execution of other works mentioned above.

Doncaster DN10 6NE, and may be seen there at all reasonable hours.
The Order as made becomes operative on the date on which this notice is first published;
but a person aggrieved by the Order, may by application to the High Court within 6
weeks from that date, question its validity on the grounds that the authorisation
granted by the Order is not empowered to be granted or that there has been a failure
to comply with any relevant statutory requirement relating to the Order.

In the parish of Blyth, in the district of Bassetlaw and the county of Nottinghamshire
Pasture land and access track on the north-east of the A1(M) Doncaster by-pass, north-east
of the A1 Blyth Road, and north of Common Lane Bridge (plots 1/1, 1/1A, 1/2 and 1/3)
(all owned by P. J. Smith).
Pasture land on the south-west of the A1(M) Doncaster by-pass and on the north of
Whitewater Lane (plots 2/1 and 2/2) (all owned by A. B. Smith).
Pasture land on the south-west of the A1(M) Doncaster by-pass and on the north of
Whitewater Lane (plots 3/1 and 3/2) (all owned by the Estate of Mrs V Mott).

Marshland on the south and east of the sewage pumping station on the east of the
A614 Bawtry Road and the right to construct and maintain highway drainage pipes and
watercourse (plots 8/2, 8/5, 8/6, 8/7, 8/8, 8/9, 8/10 and 8/11) (all owned by A. B.
Smith).
Part of half width and verge of Blyth Road, pasture land forming part of properties
known as Mandalay on the north-east of the A1(M) Doncaster by-pass, and area of garden
and buildings known as White Gate on the west of the A1(M) Doncaster by-pass (plots
9/1, 9/2, 9/2A, 9/3, 9/4, 9/5 and 9/6) (all owned by the Secretary of State for Transport).
