THE KINGSTON UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 13/2006) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CLARENCE AVENUE/DARLEY DRIVE, NEW MALDEN, LOWER KINGS ROAD, KINGSTON, KNOLLMEAD, TOLWORTH
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 5 May 2006, made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order, which will come into force on 12 May 2006, will be to: (a) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in: Clarence Avenue, New Malden, the north side, extending eastward from its junction with Darley Drive for 17 metres and westward for 10 metres; Darley Drive, New Malden, both sides, extending northward from its junction from Clarence Avenue for 10 metres; Lower Kings Road, Kingston, both sides, between the south-western boundary of No 1 Lower Kings Road and its junction with Skerne Walk; (b) introduce single yellow line waiting restrictions (operating between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays) in Knollmead, Tolworth, the south side, outside Nos 190 to 194. 3. The Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan showing the location and effect of the restrictions, are available for inspection until 16 June 2006, at: the 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; Kingston Library, Fairfield Road, Kingston, during normal opening hours; Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton, during normal opening hours; New Malden Library, Sandal Road, New Malden, during normal opening hours. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 16 June 2006.
