NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58
NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS
1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that Bristol City Council, as Highway Authority, intends to carry out substantial road works. 2. The streets/roads in which these works will take place are stated in the first column (below), between the limits given in the two following columns. 3. This programme of works will commence on or within one month of 1 June 2006. 4. The works notified will include full width carriageway resurfacing. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in paragraph 4 without consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
