DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES—SCHEDULE 105
1. Notice is hereby given that Croydon Council propose to make a Traffic Order under
section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No
Z52) Traffic Order 2005 would be to:
(a) revoke the disabled parking places located outside No 1 Broadcoombe, Selsdon,
outside No 68 Dunbar Avenue, Norbury, outside No 86 Haslemere Road, Thornton Heath,
adjacent to No 242 Whitehorse Lane in Holmewood Road, South Norwood, outside No 7
Kingswood Avenue, Thornton Heath, outside No 9 Rusthall Close, Addiscombe, outside
No 5 Southcote Road, South Norwood, outside No 87 Totton Road, Thornton Heath and
opposite Nos 52/54 Uvedale Crescent, New Addington;
(b) designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’
badge may be left without charge or time limit in Avenue Road, South Norwood (outside
Nos 1/3/5 Oakwood Court, Avenue Road), Barmouth Road, Shirley (outside Nos 49 and
51), Bungalow Road, South Norwood (outside No 48), Colvin Road, Thornton Heath (outside
No 17), Dickenson’s Lane, South Norwood (outside Nos 3/4), Estcourt Road, South Norwood
(outside No 35), Godson Road, Croydon (adjacent to No 18 Courtney Road), Grove Road,
Thornton Heath (outside No 33), Highbarrow Road, Addiscombe (outside No 51), Mitcham
Road, Croydon (outside Nos 503/505), Natal Road, Thornton Heath (outside No 15), Norbury
Avenue, Thornton Heath (outside No 25), Northborough Road, Norbury (outside Nos 82/84),
Pagehurst Road, Croydon (outside No 47), Stanley Road, Croydon (outside No 134), Tollers
Lane, Old Coulsdon (outside No 112), Verdayne Avenue, Croydon (outside No 51) and
Walton Green, New Addington (opposite No 91).
3. A copy of the proposed Order and of all related Orders, of the Council’s statement
of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of the plans which indicate each length
of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on
Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of 6 weeks beginning with
the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not
to make the Order, at the Enquiry Counter, ‘One-Stop’ Facility, Ground Floor, Taberner
House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing
of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking and

Croydon Council, 1st Floor, Davis House, Robert Street, Croydon CR0 1QQ, quoting Ref
ECSS/PS/JAA/13/Z52 by 6 January 2006.
