CROUCH HILL AND GOSWELL ROAD

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of The London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, in connection with the amendments to bus stop locations in Crouch Hill and Goswell Road. 2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to further amend the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Consolidation Order 2004 so that: (a) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on waiting by vehicles would be changed so that it would apply at any time; and (b) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on waiting by vehicles would be changed so that it would apply between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and on Saturdays between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm. 3. The general effect of the parking place Order would be to amend the existing shared use parking place on Goswell Road on the north-west side between Peartree Street and Bastwick Street. The existing parking place would be split into three new parking places to allow for the relocation of the bus stop south of Peartree Road. One shared use parking place would be lost as a result of this proposal. The hours of operation, charges and vehicles for which the parking places remain available would remain unchanged. 4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA. Holly Park: (south-easternmost arm), the south-east side, between the north-eastern kerbline of Crouch Hill and a point 10 metres north-east of that kerbline.
