ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A1202 CURTAIN ROAD, A1202 GREAT EASTERN STREET, HOLYWELL LANE, A5201 OLD STREET AND A10 SHOREDITCH HIGH STREET, RED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 2003, VARIATION ORDER 2005

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to: (a) Provide a motorcycle parking box on Old Street opposite its junction with Hoxton Street. (b) Remove the “no stopping at any time” restriction on the north side of Old Street for a distance of 24.5 metres east of its junction with Hoxton Street, and replace that section with “no stopping on any day 7.00 am to 7.00 pm”. (c) Alter the loading hours in the loading box adjacent to No 102 Curtain Road to 7.00 am to 7.00 pm. 3. The roads affected by the Order are Old Street and Curtain Road. 4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reason for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected, during normal office hours, at the offices of: Transport for London, Traffic Orders Team, Road Network Development, Faith Lawson House, 15-17 Dacre Street, London SW1H 0NR; and London Borough of Hackney, Traffic and Transportation Team, Regulatory Services, Dorothy Hodgkin House, 12 Reading Lane, London E8 1HJ. 5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF/TO,GLA/2005/602, to arrive before 11 November 2005. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
