STOPPING-UP OF LENGTHS OF HIGHWAY AT GREEN CLOSE AND BEECHCROFT WALK, HORFIELD, BRISTOL

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Bristol) (No SW4) Order 2005” authorising the stopping-up of lengths of highway at Green Close and Beechcroft Walk, Horfield, Bristol, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule and requiring the provision of new highway and improvement of Green Close and Montreal Avenue. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West, The Planning Team, 1st Floor, 2 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6EH (Tel 0117 900 1896) quoting Ref SW/THM/8247/223 and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Bristol City Council, Horfield House, 10 Lockleaze Road, Horfield. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 4 March 2005, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
