NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AND OF PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO THE NORTHAMPTONSHIRE WASTE LOCAL PLAN

The Public Inquiry into this plan has been held and the report of the Planning Inspector has been considered by Northamptonshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council has considered the recommendations made by the Inspector and proposes to make modifications to the plan. Also available for inspection are the Report of the Inspector (October 2004); Northamptonshire Waste Local Plan—Proposed Modifications; Inspector’s Recommendations, which also contains the Inspector’s Recommendations the authority do not intend to accept. All of these documents can be viewed on the County Council website: www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/Environment Objections and representations in respect of, the proposed modifications should be sent in writing to Waste Local Plan Proposed Modifications Consultation, Sustainable Development, Northamptonshire County Council, PO Box 163, County Hall, Northampton NN1 1AX, before 5.30 pm, Thursday 31 March 2005. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at the specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Objections may only be made in respect of those parts of the plan which have been modified since the revised deposit draft (November 2004). Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, Northamptonshire County Council intend to adopt the Waste Local Plan on the expiry of that period.
