PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that SITA Tees Valley Limited, has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the disposal of waste by landfill. The installation is located at Redcar Road, Dunsdale in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland in the county of Cleveland. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects from the emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate Carlin Howe Landfill Site is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, Coverdale House, Amy Johnson Way, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4UZ; and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Environment Protection/Licensing, Development Department, Belmont House, Rectory Lane, Guisborough TS14 7FD. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
