NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited of Henderson House, Lancaster Way,
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 6XQ is applying to the Environment Agency to vary
licence 7/35/8/G/152 which authorises the abstraction of water from boreholes in the
Chalk in the parishes of Whitton, Westerfield, Belstead, Baylham, Claydon and Rushmere,
Suffolk.
The variation being applied for is to authorise the use of three additional boreholes
at Belstead, National Grid Refs TM 145 422 and TM 146 422; these boreholes will replace
the three existing boreholes at Belstead (National Grid Ref TM 145 422). There will
be no change to the overall licensed quantities as the existing hourly, daily and
annual aggregate conditions will be retained. The water will be used for public water
supply.
A copy of the application and any maps and other documents submitted with it may
be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and
at Stoke Park Drive Post Office, 55-57 Stoke Park Drive, Ipswich, Suffolk IP2 9EG
between 13 December 2004 and 21 January 2005.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so
in writing to The Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE before
the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
