LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET REVISED UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN (UDP)
NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PRE-INQUIRY CHANGES TO AN ADDITIONAL CHAPTER OF A REVISED UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
The London Borough of Barnet has published the Pre-Inquiry Changes to the Revised
Cricklewood, Brent Cross and West Hendon Regeneration Area Chapter, which will form
part of the above plan. Whilst not part of the statutory plan process, this document
sets out the Council’s final position before commencement of the Public Local Inquiry
on 3 March 2004. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of
the development plan for the area of the London Borough of Barnet. The development
plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the Pre-Inquiry Changes to the Cricklewood, Brent Cross and West Hendon
Regeneration Area Chapter are available for public inspection at Barnet House, 1255
High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; Edgware Library, Hale Lane, Edgware, London

Objections to and representations in support of the Pre-Inquiry Changes to the Cricklewood,

Stewart Murray, Head of Planning, London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 High
Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ before 5 pm on Monday, 1 March 2004. Objections and
representations should specify the matters to which they relate, and the grounds on
which they are made. They must also be accompanied by a request to be notified at
a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval and rejection of the plan.
Objections and representations received at this stage of the UPD review process do
not have the same procedural status as those received at the Deposit and Revised Deposit

these will be heard at the Public Local Inquiry.

the Public Local Inquiry, following which the proposals will be formally deposited
as Post-Inquiry Modifications, prior to formal adoption.
