ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A12/A127 GLA ROAD (LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (GALLOWS CORNER ROUNDABOUT) ORDER 200

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order would be to impose a speed limit of 30mph on the following approach roads to Gallows Corner roundabout, in the London Borough of Havering:

(a) the A12 Colchester Road;
(b) the A127 Southend Arterial; and
(c) the A12 Eastern Avenue East.

3. The roads affected by the Order are indicated in paragraph 2.
4. The roads affected are currently subject to a speed limit of 50mph.
5. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, and a map indicating the location and effect of the Order can be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours for 21 days following the date on which this notice is published at the offices of:

Transport for London, Street Management, Statutory Functions, Traffic Orders, 6th Floor, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PX; London Borough of Havering, Building and Technical Services, Whitworth Centre, Noak Hill Road, Harold Hill, Romford, Essex RM3 7YA.

6. Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the TASS/AD/SF-TO, Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL, quoting ref GLA/2003/655, to arrive before 5 December 2003.
Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
