STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS (COUNTY OF ESSEX) (NO 11) ORDER 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that, on the application of Terry Everett, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No 11) Order 2003” authorising the stopping-up of an area of all-purpose highway land adjoining 2 Wood Green, Burnt Mills, Basildon, Essex, to enable the development consisting of single storey front and rear extensions, change of use of highway to garden and retention of fence to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to T & L J Everett by Basildon District Council on 23 April 2003 under Ref 03/00232/FULL. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the East of England (Planning Casework Team), Eastbrook, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 2DF (quoting Ref GT/V1505/35/1/102), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Basildon District Council, The Basildon Centre, St Martin’s Square, Basildon, Essex SS14 1DL. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereundere has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 15 September 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
