THE TRUNK ROAD (A487) (NEWPORT, DYFED) (DE-RESTRICTION) ORDER 1987

REVOCATION ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Economic Development and Transport, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales proposes to make an Order under sections 82, 83 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order will be to revoke the Trunk Road (A487) (Newport, Dyfed) (De-Restriction) Order 1987. As a result, the 30 mph per hour speed limit which applies by virtue of street lighting will be extended in a westerly direction. A copy of the proposed Order and of the Order being revoked, together with a plan and a statement of reasons for the making of the Order, may be inspected during normal opening hours at the Newport, Pembrokeshire Post Office, Cross House, Long Street, Newport, Pembrokeshire, during a period of 28 days from 11 August 2003. Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and quoting Ref CZ510-6-2-56 must be sent in writing to the Welsh Assembly Government, Transport Directorate, Roads Administration Division, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ, by 8 September 2003. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
