ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A45 TRUNK ROAD (IRCHESTER, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE) (CLOSURE OF A GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A45 Trunk Road (Higham Road) at Irchester in Northamptonshire. The effect of the Order, which will come into force on 14 April 2003, will be to close the gap in the central reservation of the A45 Trunk Road opposite its junction with Chester Road at Irchester. Any person wishing to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in, the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of, or of any Instrument made under, any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 27 March 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Wellingborough Borough Council, Swanspool House, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire NN8 1BP; Rushden Town Council, Rushden Hall, Hall Avenue, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 9NJ; or obtained by application from the Highways Agency, Operations Divisions, Orders Section, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA41/7/114.
