NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A LOCAL PLAN
COTSWOLD DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN

Cotswold District Council have prepared proposals for the replacement of the above plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Cotswold District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at:

Cotswold District Council Planning Reception, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire GL7 1PX, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm; and
Cotswold District Council Moreton Area Centre, High Street, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 0AZ, Monday 8.45 am to 4.00 pm; Tuesday and Wednesday 8.45 am to 5.15 pm; Thursday 8.45 am to 7.30 pm; Friday 8.45 am to 4.45 pm; Saturday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm.

The proposals are also available for inspection at all public libraries in the district during normal opening hours. The plan can be viewed on the Council’s website. The plan can be purchased from the District Council at a cost of £30. A CD version is available at a cost of £15. Postage and packing for either is an additional £2.
Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to: Chris Vickery, Forward Planning Manager, Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire GL7 1PX, before 5.00 pm on Thursday 20 February 2003. Objections and representations may also be submitted via the Council’s website: www.cotswold.gov.uk
Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on Thursday 20 February 2003 at 5.00 pm will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposal

If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections, Cotswold District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
