NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that the Trustees of Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, of Golf Club Road, Deal, Kent, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 9/198 which authorises the abstraction of water from a water course, Stour IDB Drain 272, at National Grid Ref TR 3690 5500, at Blackhorse Wall, Sholden Parish, Deal, Kent. The variation being applied for is to increase the total quantity abstracted between 1 April and 31 October from 10,277 cubic metres to 19,319 cubic metres. This will be offset by an equal reduction on Licence No 12/073. No other changes are requested. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, Deal, Kent, between 28 February 2002 and 28 March 2002. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Orchard House, Endeavour Park, London Road, Addington, West Malling, Kent ME19 5SH, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
