NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Nigel North, of Evergreen Landscapes, Middlecombe Nursery, Wrington Road, Congresbury, North Somerset BS49 5AN, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from borehole/dolomitic conglomerate at National Grid Ref ST 446 643 at Middlecombe Nursery, Wrington Road, Congresbury BS49 5AN. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 15 cubic metres per day the following 1,500 cubic metres (per year)—between April and September each year. The water will be used for irrigation of nursery stock in containers during summer months. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Middlecombe Nursery, Wrington Road, Congresbury BS49 5AN, between 11 February 2002 and 1 May 2002. Any person who wishes to make representation about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, East Quarry, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4YS, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
