NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Schedule 10, Section 4 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by 3C Waste Limited, 3 Sidings Court, White Rose Way, Doncaster DN4 5NU, for consent to discharge up to 200 cubic metres per day of Trade Effluent from Gowy Landfill Site, Ince Lane, Wimbolds Trafford, Chester CH2 4JP. The effluent will comprise treated leachate from Gowy Landfill Site. The leachate will be treated by aerated sequencing batch reactor and reedbed treatment systems prior to discharge to the River Gowy at National Grid Ref SJ 4431 7138.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Environment Agency, Planning & Customer Services, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington WA3 7WD not later than 1 February 2001 quoting Ref S/105/P/2001.
A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above address during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
