NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Molkerei Alois Müller GmbH & Co. (UK Production), of Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 3SQ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole (from sandstone) at National Grid Ref. SJ 6559 3324 at Molkerei Alois Müller GmbH & Co (UK Production), Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 3SQ. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 3,000 cubic metres per day, 1,095,000 cubic metres (per year) all year round. The water will be used for Process and Manufacture/Evaporative and Cooling. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Security Gate located at Molkerei Alois Müller GbhH & Co (UK Production), Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 3SQ, between 1st May 2001 and 1st June 2001. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency at Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
