THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (HOLYHEAD, GWYNEDD) (DE-RESTRICTION) ORDER 1994 (VARIATION) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that the Assembly Secretary for Environment proposes to make an Order under sections 82(2) and 83(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order is to reduce the extent of a de-restriction Order on the A5 London-Holyhead Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) at Holyhead in the county of Anglesey so that it commences from a point 540 metres south-east of the centre line of its junction with Penrhos Beach Road and not 130 metres as at present. A copy of the proposed Order, relevant plan and statement of reasons for making the Order (together with copies of the Orders affected) may be inspected during normal office hours at Holyhead Post Office, 13 a Boston Street, Holyhead. A copy of the proposed Order and notice may also be viewed at the National Assembly for Wales website at www.wales.gov.uk. Objections specifying the grounds on which they are made, quoting Ref. CZ510-2-45-12, must be sent in writing to the National Assembly for Wales Transport Directorate, Roads Administration Division 3, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ by 6th September 2000. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
